Think you use your emotions/feelings when you lead? Does your head rule your thought processes when hiring?

I’m reading a good book by the very talented Maria Paviour “Brainy” Neuroscience for Engaged People…at the moment

Don’t yawn! This stuff is fascinating if you are a leader in any way!

The way you engage your team is key critical and Emotional Intelligence is vitally important in the market place today especially when hiring! How your team interact with others, how they make people feel around them, how they feel when challenged, under stress, happy, sad, all makes a work force that’s connected & much more cohesive. Not just their skill set but their emotional connection to.

Don’t tell me you don’t use your gut instinct in anyway in the workplace, I don’t believe you. We all look for the skill set but it is the persons “fit” in the team that makes us hire them surely?
