Sussex Based in the Construction Industry? Is Rampion Wind Farm an opportunity that’s passing you by?
We’ve just attended a seminar organised by E.on about the construction and operation of Rampion Wind Farm – a new 116-turbine farm off the Sussex coast between Brighton and Worthing. This is one of the largest construction projects seen in Sussex, and will create opportunities for construction companies and workers during the installation phase, which starts towards the end of May 2015 and runs for the next 3 years.
E.on and their construction partners will be looking for local construction companies to support the project and boost the local economy. During the construction phase they expect to create up to 460 jobs. In particular:
- Ground Workers
- Steel Workers
- Concrete Workers
- Mechanical Fitters
Once the project is complete, they’ll create 65 full time jobs in operations and maintenance.
If you’re a Sussex-based construction company…
