PERSONAL PROFILE

It is highly important that your CV includes a well written “Personal Profile”.  This describes you as a professional and as a person.  Your Personal Profile should only be 3 sentences where possible.  The first sentence should introduce you positively (who you are), the second sentence should present a summary of your skills and experience (what you can do) and the final sentence should explain your personal career target and goals (what you want).  Consider “tailoring” your CV to each role you are applying for so that you stand out!  Remember to never lie on a CV, as information can be checked.  A CV should ideally be no more than 2-3 pages in length.  Keep the font simple – such as Arial size 11 – and leave flashy designs and tables out of your CV, along with photographs – unless applying for a modelling job of course!
