Our client is expanding production due to a growing order book, so this is a key role in supporting that growth. This role would suit somebody needing to manage childcare arrangements. The company will consider flexible working in many forms, but it must be at least 4 days a week.

Based in East Sussex, our client is a highly successful engineering company with creativity at its core. The company has grown substantially in recent years and plans to continue that growth. They have a strong market position and a team that work together creating bespoke pieces, mostly in non-ferrous materials.

We will be pleased to provide our clients company name to qualified candidates at the end of the first screening telephone interview.

The company requires a part-time administrative assistant to answer phones and assist with planning of a busy workshop, including the purchase of material and supplies. This position requires somebody to undertake a wider range of engagement, especially during busy periods.

This role may suit somebody returning to work.
The candidate must be used to working across many administrative functions in a busy manufacturing environment. You must be able to work quickly and accurately, and maintain accurate records. You enjoy pitching in when times are busy and thrive in a busy work place.

The company offices and factory are in Eastbourne. It’s nominally a 30 hours a week position, but the company is ready to be flexible with how the working time is structured as long as there’s a minimum of 4 days works. They will consider something slightly less than 30 hours. This can be discussed at interview.

Basic salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis from a full time equivalent of up to £19,000 per annum. So a thirty-hour week would be in the region of £14,200.

The target start date is as soon as practically possible depending on notice periods. Before that will be an interview with a consultant at the RSE Group, before an interviews on company premises.

The RSE Group aim to respond to all applications personally. However due to the high number of applications we receive, we regret this is not always possible. Therefore, if you have not heard from us within 14 days of your application, please be advised that you have not been successful in this instance.
