Our client is a very successful Midlands based hygiene services company. Founded in 2004, the company has grown every year and is now a substantial regional player in a competitive business sector. The organisation has built it’s success by delivering ”…a quality service, on time, every time, to every customer.”

Our client now seeks two B2B new business development professionals to accelerate their growth. This role calls for outstanding performance, but the rewards also match this market-leading opportunity.

This is an extraordinary new sales development opportunity with rewards to match:

You’ll seek out new B2B sales opportunities by being busy developing a sales pipeline that will fuel your monthly performance to consistent target achievement or better. Ideally, you may make sales on the spot, but usually you’ll need to show organisation and persistence to make those sales where there’s a gap in the current service provision, or wait for a competitor’s contract to run it’s course.

All sales are contract-based, as you’ll be selling a service in an area that requires regular service so that everything’s fresh and hygienically clean to keep staff and visiting customers happy. You’ll already be familiar with making value-based sales proposals, and selling to a price is something you’ll see as unnecessary. You have the knack of understanding each prospects needs and offering bespoke solutions that excite their interest.

You’ll also network in the general business community to raise the company profile and generate referrals and sales leads. This is a 100% new business role, so you’ll need to hunt out new opportunities continuously.

The best news is that you won’t be dragged down with too many KPI’s and unnecessary reporting. You’ll be judged and rewarded by the volume of your sales and their long-term stickability. The rewards don’t just include a basic salary and commission, but also regular incentive schemes.

You will have an outstanding B2B new business track record. It doesn’t need to be in our client’s field of expertise in washroom and hygiene services, but it does have to be in something where service or brand is a significant part of the value proposition. For example, you may have sold advertising space, directory advertising, recruitment services, professional services, or luxury brands at a B2B level.

The structure of the open-ended commission system puts an outstanding earning opportunity in reach. The basic salary will be up to £30k and there’s an excellent and open-ended commission scheme. A company car is provided, along with a phone and a laptop/tablet, along with the other benefits you’d expect from a successful company. They already have people earning £60k plus and they’d be happy to explain the opportunity in more detail.

The company also runs generous incentive schemes (including overseas travel) that reward target-beating performance.


The target start date is as soon as practically possible depending on notice periods. Before that will be a screening interview with Martin Ellis at RSE Group. Thereafter will be two interviews with our client, the first being a telephone interview so you can learn more about this opportunity as soon as possible. There is also the opportunity to take a field ride with a current team member prior to a psychometric test and final interview
