We are currently looking for an Office Manager for our client based in Lewes.
This is a new role for this high growth manufacturing company with great plans for the future.
The successful applicant will be expected to pick up day to day HR duties, controlling and monitoring the staff’s productivity and dealing with them accordingly, day to day smooth running of the team with the ability to talk to staff and deal with any issues arising.
Administration duties, to include invoicing, ordering, bookkeeping (not priority), banking, chasing payments, printing and cross checking orders, keeping spread sheets etc. learning how to assign the correct jobs to each member of staff (work board updating).
Looking after the IT, website servicing and social media (training will be given where required but you must be computer Apple literate.
The MD IS looking for a person that will be competent with staff matters and be able to ensure the smooth running of the company, work closely with him to learn the inner workings of the company & look to improve productivity and profitability by identifying issues that slow things down.

Manufacturing experience and an interest in Motorbikes/superbikes would be a distinct advantage
Rural office so must drive based near Lewes

Salary: £25k – £30k with room for quick progression dependant on performance.
