There’s nothing more important than making the right employment decisions. It can change culture, behaviours and performance. The trouble is, it can go awfully wrong too, so hiring managers seek certainty and guarantees where none exists. As a result, decisions are often delayed and the moment is lost, or the candidate is gone.
We have the dreadful and stark prospect of starting again. The heart sinks. You know the feeling.
We’re here to tell you there’s another way. A better way.
Assess your new recruits against your best performers
It can be done, and done scientifically and objectively.
It’s not time-consuming.
It’s not complicated.
And it’s not expensive – Because we’ll NOT CHARGE YOU UNLESS YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY AND UTTERLEY CONVINCED. But we will charge you, because you will be convinced.
How we’ll do it
You will tell us who are the best performers in your team. We’ll assess them using DISC. This is a 10-minute online assessment. DISC stands for:
D = DOMINANCE
I = INFLUENCE
S = STEADINESS
C = COMPLIANCE
DISC doesn’t seek to look for ‘good’ or ‘bad’ but seeks to identify common traits among your top performers so you can look for the same behaviours and motivations in new recruits.
If you don’t want to interrupt your star performers, we know the typical behaviours that are normally preferred in any role and ready to discuss how that might apply in your organisation.
DISC isn’t a magic bullet
DISC doesn’t replace the need for well-grounded interviews or provide any recruitment short cuts. It’s not intrusive either. It just needs to be used in the right way, at the right time, to give extra insight into what makes somebody tick – and how they might fit into your team and become effective and participative members.
DISC doesn’t guarantee you’ll make all the right recruitment decisions, all the time. But you will make more, better recruitment decisions more often.
